In India, most garment workers tend to work long shifts without having Sundays off. They are seldom paid overtime and are usually employed in single-room dingy workshops. Workers at Sambhav work strict 8-hour shifts which includes a lunch break and two short tea breaks. Sundays are off, overtime is optional and paid for. We attempt to provide a safe and comfortable environment to our workers because we value the ‘human touch’ in manufacturing. We believe business becomes more meaningful if it creates a legitimate impact in the lives of our workers.
